Allah says in Qur’an, “And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.”

1. Carefully read and understand all guidelines listed below.
2. Complete the application form and submit via email at admin@islamicswfl.com along with a copy of the photo ID for both the bride and groom.
3. Once submitted, our office will contact you to confirm the requested date and time.
4. Obtain a marriage license from a county within the state of Florida.
5. Bring the marriage license from the county clerk’s office on the day of the nikah/marriage ceremony.
6. ICSWFL will provide a Certificate of Islamic Marriage for the bride and groom.
7. A service fee of $100 is required for conducting the nikah ceremony. Payment should be made on the day of the nikah.

• ICSWFL will only conduct the nikah/marriage ceremony upon presentation of a valid marriage license issued by the county clerk.
• No photography or video of any type is allowed in the prayer area.
• Sisters will be seated in a separate area, but a live broadcast of the nikah ceremony will be available.
• ICSWFL will keep a copy of the official marriage license for its records.
• We require the presence of two Muslim male witnesses and a guardian (wali) for the bride.
• The bride’s father is considered to be a guardian (wali) of the bride by default. In the absence of the father, we will provide guidance to possible alternatives depending on circumstances.
• ICSWFL facilitates the religious nikah ceremony only and does not assume any legal responsibility or liability for marital, civil, or legal matters.
